Houston dentist Terri L. Alani is one of 23 women competing for a rose from "Golden Bachelor" and former NFL player Mel Owens in the show's second season, which began on Sept. 24 on ABC. Alani has served in leadership roles in organizations including the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Texas Dental Association.
